About
I'm Alsennia. Photography was not my original plan. I thought I wanted to work in the law field. A year later, I knew it was not for me, but I could not put my finger on what I wanted to do. In 2014, I married my high school sweetheart, and this began my life as a military spouse. Shortly after, in 2015, I had my first daughter, and all I wanted to do, like any mother, was to photograph her. This was when I bought my first camera. She became my practice model. Not even two years later, in 2017, I had my second daughter, and she loved having her images taken. Then, in 2020, I had my third daughter, who now tries to steal my camera to practice her own photography skills. As those years went by, all I could dream about was having my photography business, but the head trash stood in the way. In 2021, I finally stepped out of the box and trusted the process. In my free time, you will find me spending time with my family, going to church, or playing music.

At Through the Lens Boutique, our mission is to create memories that will last a lifetime. We do this by providing a relaxed, yet professional environment where we can capture the emotion of your most cherished moments. We are dedicated to providing our clients with high-quality, professional photographs that they will cherish for years to come.

Why
Why? That one straightforward inquiry has a plethora of answers. But I suppose that when it comes down to it, merely saying "because we love it" isn't adequate. The digital age has come to a point where photographs we love get lost within social media platforms or even computer hard drives. Memories are no longer being shared on the walls of our homes. Through the Lens Boutique's goal is to help take that stress off of you and your family by creating the artwork for you. Why do we do it, then? Why would we ever want to do anything else? It is perhaps the most incredible way to put it all into perspective. What could be more fulfilling than assisting someone in realizing how lovely, valuable, and flawless they are? Because we love it, we do this. We like the experience, the difficulties, and the payoff. We do it because we care about everyone and want to alter how you view yourselves and your family. We do this hoping everyone who reads it will be confident of their own beauty, perfection, and self-assurance.
